Marc Ruyters recently wrote in H-art magazine: Weidenbaum grasps better than anyone our contemporary ‘culture of images’. There is always a misleading form of impressionism in order to confront us with the illusion of what we think we see, but that our brain interprets very differently. That is, a slight threat of untruth.

The Filatuur departs from a passion for beauty and organizes art events who hold the middle between an exhibition in a gallery and an exhibition in a museum. Strives for a program combining the various forms of contemporary art and brings solo and group exhibitions of Belgian and international artists.
