In Au bord du Marais, the landscape appears as a place where perception, atmosphere, and memory flow into one another. Water, banks, vegetation, and sky return as recurring motifs, yet each time in a different tonality and emotional register. The series moves between direct observation and a more inward, almost dreamlike world of images, in which color and light transform the landscape into a mental space.
